There is something deliberately poetic about the way Chantecler has designed this pendant: the pink in the foreground, for the observer, and the butterfly hidden on the back, for those in the know. The medium bell, enamelled in bright pink, is already a complete piece of jewellery in itself — luminous, sunny, unmistakably bold in colour — but as you turn the pendant between your fingers, you discover that the silver on the back has been crafted into a stylised butterfly, a metal secret guarded by the bell itself.
